Yuga Labs, the renowned creator of NFT projects such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, Twelfold Bitcoin collection, and DookeyDash, has announced the launch of Otherside Metaverse’s highly-anticipated second trip.
The developing metaverse game takes players on “The Voyager’s Journey,” an immersive experience based on the Bored Ape universe lore, where they can socialize, build their virtual world, and many more experiences.
Otherside Second Trip
The second trip promises to be more exciting and better than the first one. Although the new features coming haven’t yet been revealed, it will surely include features that haven’t been yet included in the previous one.
The first Otherside trip, an event that occurred last year, was a massive success. It attracted over 4,500 players who battled a giant boss and had a virtual meet-up with other characters.
The second trip is scheduled for March 25th, 2023, and will offer limited slots. The event will feature strict requirements to be able to join.
Players will be able to join the event only 15 minutes before it starts but if the event reaches capacity, the event will be closed and will commence shortly after. Yuga Labs will prioritize Otherside deed holders for access but has also implemented a guest system to allow users to invite a friend.
This means players who aren’t holders will be able to join through a “guest pass” issued to holders. But it’s important to stress that priority will be given to holders, so the viability of the guest pass will depend on the availability of slots.
Yuga Labs have also issued tech requirements for the event. Here are the tech requirements for the event:

- 45 MBPS Internet connection
- Windows Requirements:
- A 64-bit version of Windows 7, or newer, is required.
- Dual-core x86-64 CPU with 2.0GHz or faster
- 4GB of system memory
- GPU that at least supports DirectX 11
- Mac Requirements:
- Your MacOS must be 10.11 or higher.
- Any Mac system introduced in 2009 or later.
