The mysterious organization known as The Proof Collective is a private, members-only collective of 1,000 dedicated non-fungible tokens (NFT) artists and collectors. The organization runs a private Discord where you can probably receive the biggest alpha available.
The main benefit of the organization is information. The organization owns a large NFT collection and provides NFT insider information via its social media and podcast where they feature big names in the NFT world. The founders are Kevin Rose of Diggs fame and Illustrator Justin Mezzel. It has been widely reported that Proof Collective also gave free memberships to digital artist Bleeple and NFT millionaire Gary Vee.
The Proof Collective NFTs
As a new media company, the organization produces and releases its own NFT masterpieces. Their first product was the Grails, with the slogan “20 artists. 20 unique pieces of art. Artist names revealed after the mint”. The mint was solely for the members of the organization.
So far, they have unveiled art by Tyler Hobbs, Claire Silver, Mike Shinoda, Larva Labs, Rachel Ryle and Gary Vaynerchuk among others. The second product by The Proof Collective was the incredibly successful Moonbirds, who conquered the world on a bearish market. There are a total of 10,000 Moonbirds which were issued under the ERC-721 standard on the Ethereum blockchain.
The mint price of one Moonbird was 2.5 ETH, meaning, at current prices, the project made over $70M on the first day.
Joining The Proof Collective
In theory, anyone can be a member of this elite NFT organization. To join the mysterious organization, one must own the Proof Collective NFT. Currently, the floor price for these NFTs is 88ETH, which is more than $200,000 at today’s exchange rate. Memberships include access to the private discord, early access to the Proof podcast, in-person events and other collaborations that are exclusive.
In order to be an active member, one must agree to; attend four of the organization’s events per year and commit to hosting, co-host or support one event annually. Moreover, members must adhere to the strict RSVP and event cancellation policies.
Conclusion
The Proof Collective entered the NFT space with a bang. The NFT world has never seen an ascension this fast and a track record this clean. However, NFTethics previously suggested that there could be something shady going on. Some mentioned the need to check the purchases of Proof Collective, as many wallets only contain the proof collection and the floor is now 88ETH.
