- Bitmine now has nearly 5 million ETH, comprising 4.12% of Ethereum’s circulating token supply.
- The company forecasts an end to the crypto winter soon, or before this year’s fall.
- It also expects to generate passive income from its massive ETH staked in MAVAN and partners.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has continued to build momentum in its Ethereum (ETH) purchases. In the past seven days, the company maintained its increased pace at token buys, securing 101,627 ETH along the way.
Update in Bitmine’s Ethereum Portfolio
Tom Lee, chairman of Bitmine and founder of Fundstrat, highlighted in a press release that the new supply represented its highest accumulation since December 15, 2025. Neither he nor the company disclosed the exact amount at which it secured the additional tokens, though. However, at the time of the disclosure, the asset was trading at $2,301 per ETH, valuing them at $233.84 million.
Currently, Bitmine maintains 4,976,485 ETH, valued at $11.45 billion. It sits on top of its 199 Bitcoin (BTC) holdings, a $200 million stake in Beast Industries, a $107 million stake in Eightco Holdings (ORBS), and $1.12 billion in cash reserves.
The latest development means Bitmine now controls 4.12% of Ether’s circulating supply of more than 120.68 million. This brings it closer to its 5% target under its “Alchemy of 5%” goal.
Out of its total holdings, the business staked approximately 67% of its holdings, or over 3.33 million ETH, across its proprietary MAVAN (Made-in America VAlidator Network) and other staking partners. The move unlocks passive income for the company, in addition to the price appreciation it expects from its Ether portfolio.
Bitmine aims to stake its ETH entirely with MAVAN in the future. It projects to generate $330 million annually from the venture at a seven-day yield of 2.88%.
Tom Lee’s Ether Outlook
Ethereum has significantly declined by nearly 100% from its all-time high of $4,953.73 per token on August 25, 2025, to the time of Bitmine’s report. Nonetheless, Lee has confidently predicted that the asset’s bearish phase will end soon.
Lee claimed that many believe the crypto winter may run until the fall of 2026. On the contrary, his team forecasted that it’s “much closer to ending.”
“Every major crypto winter since 2015 has coincided with an equity drawdown of at least 20%,” said Lee. “In fact, the 2025 crypto drawdown moved in sync with the 20% decline in the S&P 500. But in 2026, the equity decline has been milder at -8%.”
